Product information "Hagan Core 84"

The Hagan Core 84 (2025 model) is a versatile touring ski designed for both demanding ascents and stable and precise descents. With a width of 84 mm under the binding, it offers a perfect balance between maneuverability in steep, technical sections and stability in open terrain.

Thanks to the Karuba wood core and carbon reinforcement, the ski is not only extremely light (approx. 1220 g for a length of 170 cm), but also offers excellent damping and edge control. This makes it ideal for longer tours and steep ascents without having to compromise on downhill performance. The moderate sidecut allows for tight turns, while the robust construction performs well in both powder and hard snow.

This ski is aimed at experienced touring enthusiasts looking for a versatile model for a range of conditions – whether for multi-day tours, challenging summit ascents or everyday use on the slopes. The new, elegant graphics complete the package and make the Core 84 a reliable companion for ski touring adventures.

HAGAN - PURE SKI MOUNTAINEERING

For 95 years our heart has been beating for the mountains - and we have put this passion into our products from the very beginning. From our early years as ski manufacturers to our current specialization as touring ski experts, the three principles of quality, durability and a love of the winter mountain world have been at the center of everything we do.

As an Austrian family business, now in its third generation, we are particularly proud of our credo "Products from ski tourers for ski tourers".

With a focus on the essentials, we develop reliable, high-quality and field-tested equipment for people who share our enthusiasm for the fascinating mountain world and ski touring. HAGAN - the Austrian ski brand since 1924.

1924
The brothers Franz and Hans Hager started with ski production in their wainwright's workshop - they named their company HAGAN, after the first letters of the family name "Hag "er and the company headquarters "An "tiesenhofen (Upper Austria)

1925/1926
About 500 pairs of skis have already been sold - classic solid wood skis, cut from ash battens, boiled in water and bent over a heated iron model

1975
Franz Siegesleuthner, the grandson of Franz Hager, took over the management

Since then pretty much everything has changed in ski production: From the change to layered skis to specially developed plastics, metals, paints, coatings, bases and of course special machines for production.

Various products were manufactured in the production facility of the traditional company in Antiesenhofen: among others sledges and toboggans, the mountain bike "HAGAN Titanal", snowboards and in the 80s also windsurf boards.

1995
In the middle of the 90s, crisis years for almost the entire Austrian ski industry HAGAN concentrated on the development of touring skis - the new start was successful and together with his wife Alexandra, Franz Siegesleuthner continues to lead the company HAGAN Ski

2019
This year HAGAN celebrates its 95th anniversary. The anniversary is celebrated with the "ULTRA Limited Edition", the ski is available in the lengths 164 cm and 170 cm, each in a limited edition of only 95 pieces.
