A new and essential way of understanding essential garments for aerobic outdoor activities. Suitable for use as a mid-layer when temperatures drop, or as an outer layer, the Castore Jacket was designed for ski mountaineering, but we immediately realised that it could be used for much more. It's the jacket you always carry with you, the one you wear in the city to protect yourself from the cold, the one that accompanies you on your quietest excursions. And yet it transforms into a high-performance, protective garment when you want to feel the adrenaline rush through your veins. This means you'll never have to stop to take off or add a layer, simply because you won't need to. Made from Pertex® Quantum Air fabric with a DWR finish to repel moisture and dirt, the Castore Jacket offers warmth thanks to its Primaloft® Gold Active 60-gram padding (in the torso) and 40-gram padding (on the sleeves and hood). Weighing just 390 grams, it is lightweight, warm, breathable and highly resistant to wind and other weather conditions. Easily packable, it takes up very little space in your backpack. In short, whether you wear it or store it safely in your backpack, it's impossible to leave the new Castore Jacket at home.
