construction with wood core of the blossom skis

Anti Scratch

The topsheet material determines the ski's aesthetic and resistance to scratches. Every collection is renewed with constantly different, innovative materials, while always maintaining a good balance between beauty and durability.

Titanal

It is a steel and aluminum alloy dedicated to the ski world. Along with the wood core and fiberglass, it is one of the main ingredients that distinguishes the performance from one ski to another. By playing with different thicknesses (0.4 – 0.6 – 0.8 or 1 mm), the character of the ski is created.

Fiber Glass

An essential component in a sandwich ski, it is used with different thicknesses depending on the ski being produced.

Wood Core

We dedicate great attention to the development and distinctive character of the ski. We have studied different wood mixes to give each ski different characteristics of responsiveness, elasticity, and weight. The woods we use are: **Poplar**, **Beech**, **Ash**, and **Paulownia**.

Running Base

The base that Blossom Skis uses is high molecular weight sintered, providing the ski with maximum glide.

World Cup Edge

The edges of our entire collection are made of steel. An alloy has been chosen that guarantees greater hardness, from **48 HRC to 52 HRC**, and is capable of offering **maximum grip** on any snow condition.

Phenol

Material used for racing sidewalls; it makes the ski aggressive and highly reaction-intensive. Furthermore, it protects the materials inside the ski.

Radical Sidewall

The sidewalls of our skis are slightly concave. This allows the ski to have a better inclination upon entering the turn, more stability, and better adhesion of the internal materials to the ski.

  • + adhesion between resin and reinforcements
  • + lateral inclination
  • + stability and performance
  • + facilitated and gradual turn initiation
  • + durability
